Rod pipped to number one

Twenty seven years after Da Ya Think I’m Sexy gave Rod a US number one, the song is a hit again in the country’s hippest clubs.
Remixes of the seventies disco classic by top DJ’s Peter Rauhofer and DJ Monk have been filling clubs stateside as Rod gains a new audience among clubbers who were not around when Sexy was first released.
The revamped Sexy made the US Billboard Dance chart, but was pipped to the number one slot by a re-mix of Seals 1991 hit Killer.
