Rod will perform live at the home of Norwich City FC in the summer of 2011.
“The club is thrilled to confirm Rod Stewart will be performing live,” said Norwich City’s head of sales and marketing Will Hoy.
Rod is expected to attract thousands of fans to Carrow Road on 8 June.
“This is going to be another massive concert for the people of Norfolk to enjoy,” said Mr Hoy.
“I’m sure it will bring Rod’s fans from right across the country.
“It is a major boost to the club and the area to have an artiste of this calibre choosing to play at the Carrow Road stadium,” he added.
It is a return to Norwich for Rod, who often played at the city’s tiny Orford Cellar at the beginning of his career in the early 1960s.
