Concert promoters on Saturday said Stewart was suffering the flu, forcing cancellation of Sunday night’s opening date of the much-anticipated Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks Heart and a Soul Tour.
It was scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at The Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise. But Live Nation said in a statement that the 66-year-old Stewart’s flu meant he couldn’t sing.
