Viagogo, the world’s largest ticketing marketplace has revealed demand for the forthcoming UK shows has seen a surge of 278% after his album ‘True’ went to number one at the weekend, overselling Rihanna’s ‘Diamonds’ tour at a rate of 2:1.
Steve Roest, spokesperson for Viagogo commented on the newfound demand; “Music legends like Rod Stewart will always generate high ticket demand and his upcoming tour is no different.”
