Thousands more tickets go on sale

Good news for fans in Brighton and Stoke

2,000 more tickets have been made available for Rod’s concert in Brighton.

More than 20,000 fans have already snapped up the chance to see Rod at the American Express Community Stadium this summer.

Rod last played in Brighton in 1986 and there has been “phenomenal demand” for tickets to his show at the Amex on June 13.

Also an extra 3,000 tickets have gone on sale for the much-anticipated gig at Stoke’s Britannia Stadium on June 14th.

To meet phenomenal demand the total number of tickets has increased to 22,000.

Peter Taylor, concert director of concert promoters, Cuffe & Taylor, said: “We have seen phenomenal demand for tickets and we would urge fans to buy now to avoid disappointment.

“Because of the exceptional demand, we’ve looked again at the layout of the staging and production areas.

“This has enabled us to release some additional ‘production’ seats to meet the demand. And we’re confident these will sell out quickly.”

Tickets for the Brighton show are available from www.ticketline.co.uk or by calling 0844 888 9991, as well as VIP, coach and hotel packages.
