BTopenworld consumer Broadband announces that as part of its sponsorship of the 8th annual 2002 Music Industry Soccer Six it will be broadcasting the event live over the web in the first ever Soccer Six webcast. Through streaming technology fans will be able to not only view the event live but also watch interviews and clips of the stars.
The webcast will be available to all broadband and narrowband internet users at www.soccer-six.com.
This year’s Soccer Six will be held at the home of Chelsea FC, Stamford Bridge, London (May 26, 2002) and looks set to be one of the top celebrity events of the year with the full line-up now confirmed. The star-studded squads include reigning champions Ant and Dec, former winners Blur, last year’s runner-up Rod Stewart and young pretenders including Blue, Westlife, Dane Bowers, Hear’Say, 3SL and many more. Women’s football will be represented by teams including Mis-teeq and Liberty X.
