At this years Jimi Hendrix Meltdown gig at The Royal Festival Hall, Richard Lloyd from the band Television spoke to Jeff Beck backstage and told Jeff of a conversation he had sometime ago with drummer Tony Newman who claimed he had played drums on Truth’s opening track ‘Shapes Of Things’ As Mickey Waller was always credited with the drums on Truth Richard didn’t know whether to believe it, Jeff confesed that Tony might be on a few of Truth’s cuts un-credited.
