Mission Estate Review

Greatest ever!’

If you think Rod Stewart is sexy, about 25,000 others would probably agree, as he rocked a packed Mission Concert in Taradale, Napier, last night for 2-1/2 hours.

“It was the best Mission Concert ever”, one reveller said.

“The man held the audience in his hand… he was just so unbelievably sexy”.. she added.

Stewart performed classics such as Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?, Rhythm of My Heart, and The First Cut is the Deepest.

At times he stopped singing to hear the crowd, and told them they had no idea how amazing it was to hear them sing his words.

Many people in the audience paid tribute to the Scottish singer by donning traditional Scottish kilts.

New Zealand star Dave Dobbyn warmed up the audience before the main act, and the crowd stayed dancing all night.

Stewart arrived in Napier after a well-received concert in Christchurch on Wednesday.

Last night’s performance at the Mission Vineyard is Stewart’s last show before heading to Australia later this month.
