A final allocation of tickets has been released for Rod’s sell-out concert in Somerset on Wednesday 18 June 2014.
A small quantity of tickets has been released and will be available to buy from 10am on Friday 25 April 2014 from www.ticketline.co.uk.
Demand to see Rod in Taunton has been exceptional; selling 14,000 tickets within 72 hours of going on sale.
Gillian Donaldson of LCC Live, the concert promoter, said:
“We’ve been working hard to make as many tickets available to fans as possible, and are delighted to be in a position to release a final allocation of tickets.
“From past experience, we expect tickets to sell fast which is testament to Rod Stewart and his reputation as one of the best UK artists of all time.”
The concert will help raise awareness and charitable funds for St Margaret’s Hospice. Jon Andrewes, Chief Executive of St Margaret’s Hospice, said:
“This extra allocation of tickets is great news for local Rod Stewart fans who missed out on a ticket the first time around, as well as for the Hospice. This concert is helping us raise awareness of our services as well as raise funds to ensure we can continue to deliver much needed support to those in the local area with life limiting conditions.”
