Rod Stewart and his wife Penny Lancaster Stewart welcomed their second son together last night. In an interview that airs Monday, Piers Morgan talked to Stewart about becoming a father again. “I’m hoping that it’s a boy and he’s not going to be too difficult,” he told Piers last month. “I consider myself a very fit 65-year-old. I’m just going to have to be a very fit 85-year-old.”
The couple had struggled to have another child. “I really felt for her because she wanted a partner for Alastair and she got it,” he told Piers. The full interview, which took place at Stewart’s palatial Beverly Hills home, airs Monday 9pmET/PT.
