In the interview Rod said that he had nothing against brunettes and redheads but was into leggy blondes, the very next day Rod called into top London hair salon Daniel Galvin and spotted from behind a 5ft 11in blonde wearing thigh length boots “Nice boots” said Rod, the blonde turned around and said “Thanks”
“REALLY nice boots” replied Rod
“Thanks again, my husband interviewed you last night”
Rod paused and then said “PIERS?”
“Yes” she said.
I rest my case said Piers!
Piers also revieled that he knew it was going to be great fun to interview Rod when Rod announced his arrival by creeping up backstage and kneeing Piers in the backside saying “Now watch yourself Morgan the missus has just arrived”.
