Rod has donated his latest platinum disc to his friend David Beckham’s club.
Whilst in Madrid, Spain recently he personally dropped off the disc – for Spanish sales of Stardust, The Great American Songbook Vol III at the world famous soccer club Real Madrid CF.
Unfortunately Becks couldn’t make it to personally accept the present, which had the inscription ‘Best wishes To You, Rod Stewart’.
But the club said the England captain has sent him a signed shirt as a thank you.
Rod was invited to play in the recent ‘Match against Poverty’, but missed his chance due to work commitments.
