CBS Golazo pundit and ex Manchester City star Micah Richards joked that he got “disrespected” as part Rod’s incredible pitch side interview before the first leg of Celtic’s Champions League knockout tie against Bayern Munich when Rod called him ‘Big Knees’ instead of Big Meeks and then “Michael Thing” that had his fellow punditry experts laughing away.
But before the second leg Micah said “Michael Thing, Big Knees. I can’t believe it. I got disrespected but we got a text didn’t we Carra? Saying he knows who we are”
Jamie Carragher explained: “I sent him a message. I know how he was feeling the next morning. It was a bit of a come down for Big Meeks. Rod’s people shall we say got in touch and said they are well aware of the show, watch the show and know who exactly this fella is.”
