Young Rod Stewart

Chris Southwood has released a new and updated hard backed copy of his great book Young Rod Stewart [main picture] and made it into a twin book edition with his book Angus.

Young Rod Stewart; A Few Photos Taken In The Early Sixties Before He Became Really Famous..

An enigmatic photo album of Rod back in the swinging sixties enjoying the flesh pots of Hastings and Brighton replete with hippies, mods and rockers. This was when we were both broke and young and before he became the rock legend he is today. A small section of our lives and friends in eighteen or so black and white photos frozen in time.

The back cover

Angus: The Tragic Death of Clive Amor and the Mandrake Connection..

This is the story of Clive Amor also known as Angus. This is about kids growing up in the sixties, about swinging party life and drugs. London and the beaches of Hastings and Brighton and his friends including Rod Stewart. This is about the coroners and pathologists inept conclusions and why no one connected so many obvious pieces of evidence.”We owe it to his memory to find out” said he coroner .This book, Angus, is in memory of my friend.

SMILER would also like to thank Chris for the nice plug he gave us in the book!
