One for Cregan fans
Fans of Jim Cregan will be pleased to know his album Blossom Toes – We Are Ever So Clean is being released in October, remastered on 180gm vinyl October!

Released in October 1967, âWe Are Ever So Cleanâ was the wonderful debut album by Blossom Toes, one of Britainâs most imaginative bands of the late 1960s. Originally known as The Ingoes, the band featured Brian Gooding (guitar, vocals, keyboards), Jim Cregan (guitar, vocals), Brian Belshaw (bass, vocals) and Kevin Westlake (drums, percussion). Signing to Giorgio Gomelskyâs newly formed Marmalade Records in 1967, the band recorded their debut masterpiece throughout the Summer of that year.
Upon its release, it was described by Melody Maker as âGiorgio Gomelskyâs Lonely Hearts Club Bandâ, although this was unfair. While the album did indeed reflect the style of the burgeoning British psychedelic rock movement, the album revealed Blossom Toes to be an innovative band and was a highly original work with such classic tracks as âLook At Me Iâm Youâ and âWhat On Earthâ.
Unfairly overlooked at the time of its release, âWe Are Ever So Cleanâ is regarded as one of the greatest psychedelic rock albums ever. This new official limited vinyl edition has been newly remastered and was cut at Abbey Road Studios. The LP is a facsimile of the original 1967 release and features an illustrated inner bag.

And Finally..

Penny cut a typically glamorous figure on Thursday night as she led the stars at the Moulin Rouge! The Musical gala in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust. She dazzled in a red fringed mini dress as she hit the red carpet at the glitzy event held at The Piccadilly Theatre in London’s West End. Penny teamed her thigh-skimming mini with a smart black coat and a black clutch bag as she posed for snapsâŚ.
And don’t forget if you are attending any of the last two shows on the current Vegas residency don’t forget to send in any thoughts and pictures.
See you next week

Seems like a longer setlist than for previous Vegas residencies. Does anyone know if Vegas concerts are now closer to the two hour mark?
