Coffee with Rod
Rod was out and about in Beverly Hills last Friday, He was spotted chatting with this young lady while going for a coffee with Penny before flying back to Vegas for Fridays show
Welcome Louie and Otis
Later on in the day the news came through that his son Liam had announced the birth of his first child with partner Nicole, making Rod a grandfather for the second time.
“Welcome lad,” he captioned the pictures of his newborn. “You American, British, Croatian, Kiwi. Louie Mark Roderick Stewart 5.12.23.”
Later Rod’s daughter Ruby announced that her and partner Jake’s son Otis Stewart Kalick had been born on 9th May 2023 weighing 8lbs 8oz
It’s Friday Night
Friday night was Vegas night and the band had a visit from an old friend Adrianna Thurber Shaw who said ‘Rod was definitely getting a “kick” out of the baby bump Friday night 👶🏼 lovely to visit my former boss and the whole band family! My first time seeing the show from the audience perspective, and I couldn’t wipe the grin off my face seeing all my old colleagues and friends do their thing on stage, and especially my girl Chandra Winning at my old position and making it her own. Maggie was my all time favorite part of the show when I was in the band!’
Daniel Beirne was at the show and presented Rod with a T-shirt for baby Louie
And as usual also took some brilliant live shots
Daniel also showed Rod a proof copy of Issue 102 [Coming very soon ..I promise!] of SMILER magazine, It was the first time Rod has seen our tribute to Don Stewart..more in issue 103!!

Babies Louie and Otis was sent more gifts.. these were from Cheryl Hudgins Ogle
Who told SMILER “I feel like I have had a couple of really exciting interactions with Rod”
More fun on Saturday night
On Saturday Rod was back in Vegas for more fun and Daniel’s mum Maggie got her Celtic shirt signed by Rod, but had to run to the bathroom to check after Rod said he signed it ‘Elton John’

Monday finale
The last night of this set of dates was Monday and the fun continued.. Rod and the Vegas Crowd welcomed the new bhoys in green Louie and Otis

To celebrate Cher’s birthday on Saturday May 20th! some of Cher’s classic TV moments are being shown on Youtube for 24h starting at 3 pm (EST): With ‘Cher… Special’ with guests: Rod, Dolly Parton and The Tubes from 1978 the show is being broadcast for the first time since it aired in 1978.

This week’s Hard Rock Cafe item was spotted by Cezer Siege who spotted a signed football and A Night On The Town platinum disc donated by Rod at Hard Rock Cafe Porto Alegre
Cezer told SMILER this week “There are only five Hard Rock’s in Brazil and the newest one that opened a few days ago is Hard Cafe Porto Alegre”
