ROD’S DELIGHT AT SCOTS SHOW

ROD STEWART and Penny Lancaster called Ben Elton before the Scots show last night to wish him luck.
Ben, who wrote the Rod musical Tonight’s The Night, told the Daily Record’s Razz that Rod was thrilled Scots audiences were getting a chance to see his musical.
Ben, who sat on the floor of the King’s Theatre during the sell-out show, said: “I’m just off the phone to Rod and Penny who couldn’t make it because they have a new baby to look after and they are on the other side of the world.
