Rod has been snubbed yet again at the Grammys.Just a few months after expressing disgust at never having won a Grammy Award, Rod has been passed over for the 13th time!

He lost the race on Sunday for the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album award to a joint effort by Tony Bennett and k.d. Lang. Bennett said he would give his Grammy to the family of the late Rosemary Clooney, who was also nominated.

Rod was competing with ‘As Time Goes By … The Great American Songbook: Volume II’ which has already sold more than 1.7 million copies in the United States. Only last year he was snubbed with the first volume which has sold about nearly five million copies worldwide.

Last October, Rod told the Radio Times that it was “astounding” that he had never won a Grammy:

“They tend not to give it to the British unless you’re Sting,” he said. Sting responded saying that Rod did deserve a Grammy, and jokingly offered to send him one of his 15 awards.

Sting’s total has now risen to 16. He won a Grammy for a collaboration with R&B singer Mary J. Blige.
